YouPoC Push To Talk services now available on a range of mobile devices.

Alongside the Sonim Toughphone range, PTTUK Ltd are now offering fully compliant OMA PoC push to talk client software for a range of Windows Mobile and Symbian OS devices.  

Just as the GSM standard has assured customers get interconnectivity of core mobile calling services between devices and infrastructures from different vendors, so the OMA PoC standard ensures that this level of interoperability and compatibility is replicated across devices and infrastructures for push to talk over cellular users too.

PTTUK Ltd has certified its OMA PoC compliant client software for the following Windows Mobile 5 and Mobile 6 Devices:

  Symbol MC35          HTC Touch Cruise            Intermec CN3

Note: Where permitted by the device's available on board connectivity options, it is possible to connect the YouPoC PoC-IT client via WiFi to the YouPoC service. This offers an additional dimension to customers wishing to converge their communications across multiple wireless IP broadband and wide area infrastructures.
